I had surgery here on June 12th, I drove all the way from Florida to have it done by this certain surgeon. They were very careful about Covid prevention measures and safety. The nurses and anesthesiologist were all amazing. I was a nervous wreck the morning of my surgery and they were all so kind and reassuring. Their director Stacey personally spent time with me while I was there before my surgery to put me at ease. I couldnt have asked for more helpful or caring nurses and support staff.
there was a sticky waxy substance on the window and ledge in my room they put me in, and it was 20 degrees hotter in my room than anywhere else in the psych unit. no draft, no air circulation. and whatever sedative they gave me made me completely wired. i had to call 911 just so they would let me leave. i sure hope things have changed there. with schizophrenia in my genetics, it was above ridiculous that they had to blast a prayer over the loud speakers every morning. yea, encourage a schizophrenic to talk to invisible people, good job. this was years back so i hope things have improved but according to a lot of word of mouth (i'm having to consider inpatient care again due to ptsd) it's still really ghetto up there.

I gave a three star review because every single staff member was very friendly, however they have poor communication between clinical staff members and we experienced a lot of misplacement and confusion (not something you want to experience in hospital). One nurse already gave my mother-in-law her medication and then came back in later looking for the medication. My MIL had to tell her that she already gave it to her. Another lost the heart monitor and came in looking in our room and went into the other rooms and then came back into our room again still looking for the heart monitor.
I spent 3 days here while my grandma was in the final stages of life. Every employee that entered her room was so kind and caring. They made sure she was comfortable at all times. When she could no longer respond they still treated her as they would any other patient. Thank you all!
Came in for a mammogram before work. New lobby looks made registration super easy. In and out for my test and results in less than a half hour. Bellin makes it easy. Great experience!
